Leon Wildes, Founder of the Wildes & Weinberg immigration law firm, is well-known for his lecture on the renowned deportation proceedings of former Beatle John Lennon and his wife, Yoko Ono, which was initiated by the Nixon administration in 1972.
On November 29, Leon Wildes will appear as a guest lecturer to recount his successful representation of the famed singer and political activist. After 32 years as an Adjunct Professor of Immigration Law at Cardozo Law School reciting this legendary case, Mr. Leon Wildes has passed the torch on to his son Michael Wildes who is the managing partner at the Wildes & Weinberg firm. Michael Wildes inaugurated a new “Business Immigration Law Class” and will continue teaching the class as Adjunct Professor of Immigration Law to carry on his father’s legacy. The students of Cardozo Law will continue to have the privilege and honor of listening to a first-hand account of this legendary immigration case.
