michael wildes serves as featured panelist for fashion law symposium at cardozo law school

Managing Partner Michael Wildes, featured panelist, (pictured addressing the panel: 2nd from right in the photo below) addressed an audience of more then 51 practitioners and 60 law students as part of The Cardozo Journal of International and Comparative Law Symposium held in the Moot Court Room at Cardozo Law on February 28, 2013.  The success of the panel on Fashion Law exceeded the Journal’s expectations both in attendance and in the quality of the presentation.
The panel, entitled “International Fashion Trends: The Business of International Fashion Law, was provided for CLE credit, and Mr. Wildes gave an in-depth presentation on H-1B3 and O visas as they pertain to the world of International Fashion Modeling.  Drawing on the firm’s extensive immigration experience advising clients in the Fashion Industry, he addressed the legal requirements for obtaining related visas and remaining compliant while working in the United States. Michael Wildes and his firm Wildes & Weinberg currently represents models, designers, executives and other foreign nationals of extraordinary ability in the prestigious world of International Fashion.
