Brandee Rose McDermott joined Wildes & Weinberg in 2022 as an Associate Attorney in our Business Immigration Department. She earned her B.A. in Politics from The Catholic University of America in 2016 and her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2022, where she served as the Co-Chair of the Brooklyn Law Immigration Society (BLIS). She is now admitted to practice law in the State of New Mexico, is licensed to practice in immigration courts throughout the United States, and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
In addition, she was the recipient of the Brooklyn Law School Pro-Bono Award for her work on Department of Defense Review Board and Department of Veterans Affairs discharge upgrade applications for low-income veterans, as well as her work advocating for children in abuse and neglect proceedings at The Legal Aid Society’s Juvenile Rights Practice and as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable David B. Katz, P.J.F.P. at the New Jersey Superior Court, Essex County Vicinage.
Brandee is a core member of our O/P visa, EB-1, and NIW team within our Business Immigration Department. She focuses her practice on representing noncitizens of extraordinary ability, and has successfully represented athletes, fine artists, businesspersons, doctors, and many more individual across various industries. She also has experience handling H-1B and E-2 visas, in addition to other nonimmigrant visa petitions.
