Tudor Neagu joined Wildes & Weinberg, PC in 2017 and is now the Chair of the Litigation Department. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania in Philosophy and a J.D. from Villanova Law School. While at Villanova, Tudor participated in the CARES asylum clinic, and he interned with the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Office of the Principal Legal Advisor. He is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey, as well as the federal district of New Jersey. Tudor is also fluent in Romanian and conversant in French. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and currently on the Removal Defense Steering Committee.
Tudor has practiced immigration law throughout the United States, but primarily in New York. He specializes in asylum law, and has obtained numerous grants both in immigration court and at the asylum office for clients from all over the world, including Russia, China, Haiti, South America, and Central Africa. Tudor has also successfully litigated cancellation of removal cases, waivers, adjustments, deferred action, habeas corpus petitions in district courts throughout the country, as well as Board of Immigration (BIA) appeals. Recently, he has focused his practice on Mandamus and Administrative Procedure Act litigation in district courts throughout the country, spurring USCIS into action, and seeking district court review of erroneous decisions. He is well-versed in all areas of immigration law, and often handles some of the firm’s most complex litigation cases.
