Top model Anastassia Khozissova has received an approval for classification as an alien of extraordinary ability due to her acclaim as an international model. She thanks her immigration team at Wildes & Weinberg, P.C., headed by noted immigration attorney, Michael Wildes.
Anastassia, born in Saratov, Russia, entered the modeling world at the young age of 15 and later made her debut at the Giorgio Armani runway show in Milan in 1999. Since then, she has appeared on the covers of Vogue, W, Harper’s Bazaar, I-D, ELLE, and L’Officiel magazines, and walked the runway for almost every legendary fashion house in the industry.
Her career made an interesting turn in 2004 when the Ralph Lauren fashion house approached Anastassia with an offer to become one of its main models. She has cultivated a close relationship with the brand, walked the runway for every fashion show, and appeared in numerous Ralph Lauren campaigns ever since.
Due to her success in the fashion industry, Anastassia was asked to coach younger models to properly carry themselves on the runway – that is how the online video series called High Heel Boot Camp were created on modelina.com. These videos attracted the attention of CNN producers which lead to Anastassia’s guest appearance on a TV segment with presenter Alina Cho.
“Being a model for over 20 years, I have been able to explore other career opportunities outside the modeling industry. My knowledge and experience allowed me to work as a consultant for companies like Yoox.com, Carlo Pazolini, and Ralph Lauren, while continuing to model. At the same time, I have started developing my brand through social media channels like Instagram. I wanted to have something of my own, which is how the hashtag#LIFEoftheMODEL came to life. I used Instagram to capture what it was like to be a model, sharing my experience with the world. Although#LIFEoftheMODEL started out being primarily about my life, it has now become a “lifestyle hashtag” and an inspiration to many”- says Anastassia.
“My life has been fortunate and I would like to share this fortune by helping others. I came across the CHARITY:WATER organization – it raises awareness about the 800 million people living without life’s most basic need and uses 100% of its public donations to fund clean water solutions in areas of greatest need. I am very excited about my partnership with this organization and the launch of my own awareness campaign raising funds to bring clean water to nations in need.
I am also grateful to my dear friend Katia Kokoreva for helping me develop a special T-shirt collection available for purchase atwww.kokotish.com. I will match every $35 t-shirt sale with a $20 donation to theCHARITY:WATER organization. Thank you for helping me help others!” – Anastassia Khozissova.
Michael Wildes was pleased to deliver the news of Anastasia’s approval as “an alien of extraordinary ability as she is someone who possesses an extreme level of knowledge, skill and talent in the international modeling world” and according to Michael, she is “a great role model for the young woman of today as she is not afraid to get her hands dirty, both literally and figuratively; we in the USA should feel honored that Anastasia wishes to further solidify herself on American soil.”
