On Thursday, January 24, 2013, we had the pleasure of attending a concert event for Dutch singing sensation, Caro Emerald, as part of her U.S. debut. It was a fantastic turnout for multi-platinum artist Caro Emerald, who is a recent client of the Wildes & Weinberg firm, just a couple months after securing an O-1 visa for her and O-2 visas for six members of her band. Caro Emerald has had extraordinary success in Europe, winning several prestigious awards and accolades for her music (MTV Europe Music Awards, ECHO Award, Goldene Kamera Award, EBBA Award). She is clearly taking the music industry by storm with YouTube video views well exceeding 1 billion! Her impressive credits include the record for outlasting Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” at the number one spot on the Dutch charts.
