Two-term Senior Democratic U.S. Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ) visits Managing Partner Michael Wildes at his law office in New York City. Menendez was back on the re-election trail and returned to his position as Ranking Member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, 2018.
Michael himself is no stranger to politics and government service. He is a former Federal Prosecutor with the United States Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn (1989-1993), has testified on Capitol Hill in connection with anti-terrorism legislation and is internationally renowned for his successful representation of several defectors who have provided difficult to obtain national security information. From 2004 until 2010, he was the Mayor of Englewood, New Jersey–where he resides and was the Chair of the Immigration Task Force of the New Jersey League of Municipalities. Michael also served on New Jersey’s Blue Ribbon Panel on Immigration. Mr. Wildes is frequently a legal commentator/analyst for network television and radio.
